The SoPA Knowledge Base is located at https://sopaid.tulane.edu/kb.
Users with privileges to publish content on the Knowledge Base will find the Knowledge Base tools available in the WordPress toolbar.
Knowledge Base > All Articles
Displays a list of all current Knowledge Base articles. You can edit, trash, or view each article.
Knowledge Base > Add New
Opens a form to create a new Knowledge Base article.

- Template > Choose Template: ignore this block (we are not using templates)
- Knowledge Base > SoPA Knowledge Base: ignore this block (we use only one Knowledge Base)
- Section > Choose Section: This is how to place a Knowledge Base article into a category. To add new categories, use Knowledge Base > Sections in the WordPress menu.
Creating a Knowledge Base article
Follow these steps:

- Go to Knowledge Base > Add New
- Enter a Title
- The Knowledge Base search uses titles to find articles
- Enter text, images, video, and other media for the article in the text editor
- Use the Section > Choose Section block to the right of the text editor to select the category for the article
- Note: New sections can be added at Knowledge Base > Sections
- Use the Publish block to the right of the text editor to publish the article by clicking the Publish button
- Ignore other blocks including: Excerpt, Send Trackbacks, Discussion, Author, Template Knowledge Base, Articled Icon, and Featured Image
Knowledge Base > Manage KBs
We are using only one Knowledge Base, so you can ignore this option.
Knowledge Base > Sections
Sections are the primary way to organize Knowledge Base articles. Use Knowledge Base > Sections in the WordPress menu to add or edit sections.
BasePress
The BasePress menu controls basic settings in the Knowledge Base. Most users will not need to access these menus.
